Canon ZR900 MiniDV Camcorder

This is an extremely compact and affordable mini-DV camcorder from Canon. It features 41x advanced zoom (37x optical zoom), a 680K pixel CCD sensor and records in 16:9 aspect ratio. It has a quick start function for low power consumption and speedy recording, there is a 2.7 inch color widescreen LCD display and it can be used as a video light for shooting in dark conditions. There is a built in image stabilizer, a DIGIC DV image processor and a number of scene modes for any situation.
There is a joystick control for easy playback or focus, smooth zoom control, level shot and grid markers to help you line the perfect shots and you can capture photos at 4:3 aspect ratio too. There is a built in microphone and also a microphone port which can be used for headphones as well. The lens cap is built in so you won’t lose it and the device is priced at a very reasonable $200.
