This is a powerful point and shoot camera from Canon capable of capturing 12.1 megapixel shots. It has a 4x optical zoom lens for stunning close ups and the picture quality is excellent. The DIGIC 4 image processor has built in face detection so your subjects are always in focus even if they move. It can also detect the right scene mode and it takes all of the hassle out of setting up for your shot. The camera also has image stabilization technology to prevent any blurring caused by a shaking hand. There is also intelligent contrast and red eye correction.
The camera features a 2.5 inch LCD for lining up shots and reviewing them afterwards. It can connect to other devices for download, viewing or printing via USB or A/V cables. The camera runs on 2 AA batteries. You’ll want to buy an SDHC memory card separately to store your pictures but when you consider the low price of $129 this still looks like a lot of camera for your cash. Great quality, easy to use, compact, point and shoot at a bargain price.
