8 New Cameras From Nikon
Posted February 21st, 2007 by Marius TrusculescuNikon’s COOLPIX line has passed trough a re-branding process and the result is the release of 8 new digital camera models and a new Logo for the 10 year old celebration.
The new COOLPIX L10, L11 and L12 cameras feature 5, 6 respectively 7.1 MP digital sensors and a 3x optical zoom. This low-end products offer great quality at affordable prices ranging from $119.95 to $199.95. The S series also has some novelties with the S50, S50c, S200 and S500 impressive new additions.
But the real star for this show is the new COOLPIX P5000, which impresses with its 10 Mp sensor, a 3.5x optical zoom and a 2.5″ LCD display. According to Nikon the new image processor in the P5000 will too offer better quality due to its noise reduction and improved signal to noise ratio technologies. But quality comes at a cost as the COOLPIX P5000 will be priced at $399.95 when it arrives on the market this March.
