Classical radios remind me from the times when I didn’t know what is a CD-ROM or MP3 player. That were the devices used in every house. Anyone has a radio. So, in my opinion, a radio is not old-fashioned. But some manufacturers are trying to catch up with the new technology.
Thus, Roberts - a radio manufacturer - unveiled new hi-tech products. One of them is the Sound 78 DAB radio. It features a 3-way speaker system for improved sound. The radios has built-in bass woofer and the cabinet is acoustically tuned for better performance. The Sound 78 supports FM RDS/DAB wavebands. You can find easily your favorite radio, because Sound 78 features a dedicated button. Roberts included an input auxiliary socket to plug in your iPod/MP3 player. The device has and clock with alarm and snoozing functions. It retails for £120.
