This is a complete multimedia device for your car with touch screen control and support for audio or video in a range of formats. It will happily play CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R or DVD-RW discs. There is an auxiliary input in the front panel so you can hook up your iPod or digital music player and if you pick up the optional adapter you’ll be able to control your iPod via the touch screen. There is also a USB connection which allows you to plug in a portable media device or storage device.
Sound quality is good with a MOSFET amplifier outputting 4 x 50 Watts and there is a built in radio tuner as well. The 7 inch color touch screen is good quality for video footage and it displays track and artist info when music is playing. In terms of formats it supports MP3, WMA, AAC and even DivX. It is a versatile device currently being offered at just over $400.
