How cool is that? To use your iPod for recording… Griffin had a great idea. The company is producing the iTalk Pro, a microphone especially designed for iPods. The device features two built-in microphones that record directly into your iPod. The iTalk offers the possibility to connect an additional mic because it has a 3.5mm jack on the bottom.

The iTalk device records sounds on 16-bit stereo audio at 44.1 kHz or 16-bit mono at 22kHz. The limitation for the Griffin’s iTalk comes from the fact it works only with iPod Nano (2GB) or iPod video (5GB). At $49.99, I think this gadget is a little expensive, but I’m sure it has a lot of fans.
