This is an updated version of the alarm clock iPod dock from iHome. The universal dock plays and charges the vast majority of iPod models and there is a buzzer in case no iPod is plugged in. The device also has a dual alarm system so you can set it for different times during the week and at the weekend. The back up battery means it will go off even if there is a power failure and it also features a built in AM/FM radio.
It delivers 6 watts of sound and you can add additional speakers if you want. There is a snooze feature for 1 to 60 minutes and it also has programmable sleep times so you can listen as you fall asleep and have it turn off automatically. The wireless remote control gives you access to the full range of options which is particularly great if you can’t have the device right next to your bed.
