LG wants Google software, not Google Phone

Posted Wednesday, March 28th, 2007 by Alex Ion

Google phoneWe all know the Google phone rumors, and it looks like some thought that LG will produce it. That’s not right because LG will not launch the Google phone, but will in fact use Google software in the new models they will launch. The 2007 new launched phones from LG will have preloaded Google Maps, Gmail and Blogger mobile applications and we should see them in the market by the second quarter of 2007.

Though Google officials said they are not interested in launching a Google phone, but rather develop software applications for mobile devices, we still think that they plan something top secret in their x-files labs.

Motorola H680 Bluetooth headset is longer lasting

Posted Wednesday, March 28th, 2007 by Alex Ion

Motorola H680 Bluetooth headsetMotorola is trying to solve the problems for those that use headsets and are very upset about the fact that they lose it after a few hours of usage. Besides the fact that it makes you look funny having something in your ear, dieing shortly thanks to the battery is no where near satisfactory. Motorola H680 is the solution, because of eight continuous hours of battery life.

If the life battery is just like they said, and if the price is good, we will have a new winner because even if it’s not the best design, it will be selected because of the long lasting battery. We’re waiting it for the third quarter of 2007.

GPS jacket for snowboarding

GPS Jacket

I love this sport. Although, it is an extreme sport, I find it very attractive and very funny. The jacket I will talk about has an interesting design. Furthermore it features a display on the left sleeve. That display is not a regular one. It shows the time, speed, altitude, and distance traveled by the snowboarder. However, it doesn’t have a GPS actually. But the name GPS Jacket will sell more pieces of clothing. The GPS Jacket was designed by Nick Ellrich, according to Yanko Design. Nick’s website is in construction, so we didn’t find the price.

Posted Monday, March 26th, 2007 by Marius Trusculescu

Probably everybody knows by now that Commodore, one of the pioneering companies in computing is relaunching its brand
and will present its hardware to customers. I wanted to talk to you on one of its next products, the Commodore xx line of high power computers and I will present you the advertised specifications.

As they are based on the latest Intel Quad core processors (basically 4 CPUsCPUs on the same die) the new computers have under the hood the maximum available computing power for desktops. After the CPU, probably the second most important component is the RAM, and the Commodore xx reaches 4 GB off DDR2 using two modules (2 GB each) of CorsDominatorCommodore xx Dominator 2xTwin2×2048-8500C5D modules running at 1066 MHz.

For the best video quality two NVIDIA 8800 GTX graphic cards with 768 MB of dedicated memory are linked together using SLI and extreme audio quality is delivered using the SoundBlasterSoundBlasterXtremeFi X-Fi Xtremed writing optic disks.

The new products are expected to ship starting this April and according to Commodore’s website the specifications are customizable so prices aren’t yet specified but they will certainly won’t be cheap.
