It’s fashionable to own a blog and share your personal photos over the internet. Thus, many people are trying to experience the photography. How can you do that without a camera? And if you want one which model is the best? Compact cameras versus DSLR cameras. The latter ones are used by professionals especially. But that doesn’t matter if you like to take pictures.

The Samsung GX-10 model is a DSLR camera. It boasts a 10.2 mega-pixel image sensor which offer superior quality images and richer colors. Here are some camera’s specs:

Sony NV-U92T navigation with slim ultra wide display

Posted Friday, March 30th, 2007 by Alex Ion

Sony NV-U92T super slim

Thanks to the picture you may think this is some kind of HD TV that you put in your car to teach you where to drive to. Nothing but right, because the new Sony NV-U92T is only 20mm depth and has a ultra wide 4.8-inch touch screen display. The GPS devices market is big and the demand becomes higher and higher so Sony wants a piece of it.

Sony NV-U92T has a few key features like linear route waypoints display, gesture commands, 2GB flash memory and the ability to connect memory sticks into the slot, TMC receiver and the smart position plus that will not interrupt your route when the GPS signal is not powerful enough: like driving through a tunnel, between tall buildings or anything that could prevent the signal to get to it. Rumors say it may also have Bluetooth, but we doubt it so far. No release date or a price yet, just some pictures.

Bushnell ONIX 400 - Weather Data GPS

Posted Friday, March 30th, 2007 by Mihnea Boiangiu

Bushnell ONIX 400 The Bushnell ONIX 400 GPS system will provide weather data in real-time. The handheld device gives you information about the directions and warnings about the weather status through the XM system. Because Bushnell ONIX 400 is designed for outdoor use it is waterproof.

The GPS device features an extra large 3.5″ full-color LCD screen (320×240 pixel resolution), an embedded 64Mb MicroSD card for data and map services and a rechargeable Li-Ion battery. The price could go around $500. The Bushnell ONIX 400 is going to be available from this summer.

Personally I think the Bushnell ONIX 400 would better offer traffic information combined with weather warnings, because let’s face it, you don’t travel so fast to unknown weather destinations.

Apple iPhone RUMOR- June 11th or 12th?

Posted Friday, March 30th, 2007 by Alex Ion

iPhoneWe don’t have a rumors category yet but I think that if we write a few more articles about the iPhone we should start creating one, because everything that we hear about these guys is either a rumor or a real fake. Cnet is the one to put it in the air this time, after calling Cingular and talking to sales. The rumor may confirm since June 11th is the first day of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, in San Francisco.

However Gizmodo thinks different and they do have a really good point. Apple has a made a habit of launching products on Tuesdays, not Mondays like June 11th, and I don’t think this will change soon even if Cingular is the one that will put it on the market. Would June 12th be a better bet? We will see …

Kingston DataTraveler is waterproof and highly secured

Posted Friday, March 30th, 2007 by Alex Ion

Waterproof Kingston DTS and DTSPKingston has two highly secured models for us, DataTraveler Secured (DTS) and DataTraveler Secured Privacy Edition (DTSP) that are designed to protect user data inextreme conditions. There are no signs of less performance, for these two USB 2.0 flash drives with up to 8GB storage capabilities, even they invested a lot to secure it the right way. Rugged and waterproof the new Kingston DTS or DTSP is not only physically secure but also hardware encrypted and has a password protocol, so if you lose it or you get robbed it will be useless for other.

Both models have titanium-coated stainless steel chassis, and are waterproof in accordance with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 60529 IPX8 standard, up to four feet water depth.

Posted Thursday, March 29th, 2007 by Mihnea Boiangiu

This is the new Nokia multimedia mobile. The new model offers Hi-Fi sound, built-in stereo speakers and the standard 3.5 mm connector. Nokia 5700 XpressMusic is the Nokia’s response to the Walkman Series of Sony Ericsson.

Nokia 5700 XpressMusic

The Nokia 5700 operates on WCDMA 2100 MHz and quadband GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies. It runs the Symbian S60 operating system. The design is brilliant. Nokia 5700 is half phone, half music player. Thus, it has dedicated buttons for music and a keyboard too. The new element in its design is the twist part. The half below the screen can be twist so you can use the phone keyboard, the music buttons or the camera.

Nokia 5700 XpressMusic

The list of specs is amazing. I think the mobiles turn in some all-in-all devices. With this one you can get quality snapshots with the 2 megapixel camera and built-in flash. The large 2.2″ QVGA display offers an active area of 33.48 x 44.64 mm. Don’t worry about storage, because Nokia 5700 accepts miniSD cards up to 2GB. So its users have the possibility to store around 1,500 songs.

The music player supports the following file formats: MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA. Nokia promises crystal clear Hi-Fi sound quality obtained with dedicated audio chip. Using the Bluetooth, you can listen to your tunes without wires. The connectivity resumes to the following options: Bluetooth, IrDA, USB and over-the-air (OTA) synchronization with SyncML.

The XpressMusic phone will be produced in three colors: red, grey and black. The price and the availability remain a mystery. We will come back with adjacent details.

iRiver x20: The Budget Player

Posted Thursday, March 29th, 2007 by Mihnea Boiangiu

iRiver x20 is the newest product released by the Korean company. As you know the iRiver is a budget solution. The MP3 player is very accessible regarding the price. It comes in three variants of storage: 2GB/4GB/8GB. The price for the middle version could go around $200. That is a good price for an audio/video player. It is cheaper than the iPod.

iRiver x20

We found the device very interesting. The sleek design and the glossy cover make the iRiver a serious competitor for the iPod, or other media players. The iRiver x20 was built on two principles: functionality and usability. A five-way button and a scroll wheel will help its users to surf the content. It features a large 2.2″ QVGA display, microSD card slot, a built-in FM radio and voice recording utility.

Its direct adversary is the Samsung YP-K3. But the market for MP3 players is in a continuous expansion, so there will be a piece for each one.
